
Mr. Lee Soon-hyuk, senior vice chairman of the national unification advisory council, received the ‘2016 Prime Minister’s Award’.
At the Prime Minister Prize Ceremony held at the consulate conference room in Ho Chi Minh on the 24th, Senior Vice President Mr. Lee Soon-hyuk was awarded the Prime Minister Award for Government Medal in recognition of his contribution to the development of international schools and the local economy.
Vice Chairman Mr. Lee Soon-hyuk is currently serving as the General Director of G-Tech, the senior vice president of the national unification advisory council and the director of the Korea International School.
He made a relationship with Vietnam through the Caravelle hotel project as a general affairs manager of Samsung C&T in 1994. After that, he founded G-Tech and carried out the Kyungbang Group, Hyosung, and Hwaseung Factory Projects. It has grown into one of the top Korean companies in vietnam.
Mr. Lee Soon-hyuk, Senior Vice President of the national unification advisory council, said, “I will humbly receive this award, knowing that it is an order from the Korean community to do better in the future.” He added, “We will make more efforts for the continuous growth of Korean International School and the development of the Vietnamese community.”
Meanwhile, this ceremony was attended by about 30 important people from various fields including Mr. Park Noh-wan (Consul General of Ho Chi Minh City), Mr. Jung Woo-jin (Deputy Consul), Mr. Yoo Myung-sik (Chairman of the national unification advisory council), Mr. Han Dong-hee (Chairman of KOCHAM), and Mr. Kim Jong-gak (Attorney).
